Why STEAM
Why STEAM
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. STEAM has become vital for children’s learning across all ages as we have become such a highly technological society.
STEAM fosters ingenuity and creativity as it encourages children to lead new ideas. It builds resilience and adaption, which promotes risk-taking, problem solving and experimentation. When children use their critical thinking skills during any STEAM experience or activity, they examine problem’s where children learn to adapt to different concepts showing perseverance and determination.
STEAM boosts children’s innovation, self-esteem and confidence as it enhances their skills and academic outcomes.
